This years DPI/NGO Conference aims to support national
efforts around the world to mobilize civil society to achieve
the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs). It is a Conference
with a practical, substantive and activist agenda arising
from urgent concerns and pressing deadlines to which the United
Nations and more than 3,000 affiliated Non-Governmental Organizations
(NGOs) are deeply committed. on the session's forum
