Envisioning a Secure World In a world of enormous diversity, who defines security?  How do we create common ground to build human security?  Can we enhance our security while ensuring security for others?  How can state security, social security and individual rights best be reconciled?  What are the best strategies to ensure political will to achieve our stated shared goals?  Do we understand or are we effectively addressing the fundamentals of conflict, conflict prevention and conflict resolution?  How can international law become more effective in facing global threats and challenges?
