Multigenerational Committee Survey

Tell Us Your Stories
We Want To Hear
The Voices and Perspectives of Youth & Ageing

The Multigenerational Committee of the 59th Annual DPI/NGO Conference wants to hear your stories. The conference title is “Unfinished Business: Effective Partnerships for Human Security and Sustainable Development.” We would like to hear your comments, suggestions and opinions on these topics. This survey is an opportunity for you to tell the NGO community what you are doing, what is working and what is not working and also to ask questions.

We are planning for the 59th Annual DPI/NGO Conference 6-8 September 2006 at the United Nations headquarters where hundreds of representatives from NGOs around the world will congregate this September to hear vital NGO news and to share their stories and experiences. We wish that you could join us but since it isn’t possible for everyone to attend we hope that you can participate by sharing your stories and experiences with us through the internet so that we can bring your voice to the table.

At the conference there will be roundtable discussions and we will be submitting the information that we compile from this survey to the youth and multigenerational representatives at each roundtable. In addition, if you are following the parts of the conference that are web cast, there will be opportunities for you to write in your questions directly to the speakers of the plenary sessions. To find out more about the conference you can go to the conference website http://2006.undpingoconference.org

We hope that you find a moment to share your stories with us because only by listening to all of you, can we really understand the full picture.
